Care of disabled persons
Since the end of 2015, the Foundation has improved the care of disabled persons.
The approach developed gives importance to support, information, training and coordination between the professionals of the Foundation, relatives and medico-social structures.
Different axes have been worked in groups and have resulted in the formalization of processes allowing a dedicated care, including a adapted reception for consultation of ophthalmology, anesthesia, MRI examination under general anesthesia for patients with a neurocognitive disability.
Since 2015, more than 30 children from the Vision Cognition Unit with autism spectrum disorders have been directly referred to the dedicated pediatric ophthalmology consultation on Friday morning.
In addition, in order to meet the growing demand for this patient profile, we are now deploying this care process at the Edmond de Rothschild Health Center with specific consultation slots.
Precariousness
From the outset, the Foundation Hospital's priority has been to give as many people as possible the chance to benefit from medical and technological innovation, with the hospital offering "sector 1" access to all its specialities, with no additional charge over and above the set French social security system rate.
Elderly
The Foundation proposes a large range of treatments for illness of elderly.
Few examples : cataract, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration (AMD or ARMD), Parkinson's disease, etc
